For this control boxes you have to take care during
the update. If the memory stick is damaged or there is a power off during
update the control box is empty!
In that case you have download software by
IF232-USB cable and EfkaLoader software!
Update by usb memory
stick (FAT/FAT16 format, smaller 4GB):
1.
copy and extract the file to an empty usb memory stick (direct on the root, no subfolder!)
2.
power
off control box
3.
plug
usb memory stick to control box
4.
enter
parameter menu with code number (-link)
5.
Save
actual parameter setting:
a.
Select
parameter .5.1.0.
b.
Press
“E” key, you will see “PUL_”.
c.
Press
“>>” key to see the file name.
d.
Press
“E” key two times to start the operation. You will see “Writ” during operation
and “rdy” when operation has finished.
6.
Download
software:
a.
Select
parameter .5.2.7.
b.
Press
“E” key, you will see “hdL_”.
c.
Press
“>>” key to see the file name.
d.
Select
the correct file by pressing “+” and “-“ key.
e.
Press
“E” key two times to start the
operation. . You will see “read” and then a number counting up. When operation
has finished the control box will restart itself.
7.
Download
parameter setting:
a.
Select
parameter .5.1.1.
b.
Press
“E” key, you will see “PdL_”.
c.
Press
“>>” key to see the file name.
d.
Press
“E” key two times to start the
operation. You will see “read” during operation and “rdy”
when operation has finished.
2nd Step: Compiler program

For classic control box
you need additional compiler program! The download includes the source file
(.prc) and the machine code file (.prg) Additional Information: If you have to modify the compiler program or
if you have to include to your own compiler program you need the actual compiler
sys files. Download the file (sys.zip) and extract
to your EFKA Compiler installation folder (Example C:\EFKAComp\Bin\sys) and
replace your old files. Here is a list of all used compiler
resources. |

operation. You will see “read” during operation and “rdy”
when operation has finished.
6.
After
download restart control box. When you have connected a variocontrol
display V820 you will see following display:
a.
When
BigData enable parameter is NOT set you see the
version number and “BigD”.
b.
When
BigData enable parameter is already set you see the
operator ID login screen “OPID_”.
