Check connection of
Ethernet modules to communication server
Download
and extract “Hercules SETUP utility” -download
Close “EFKA
communication server” software with “STOP” button or close program!
It is
recommended that you have only one module connected for this test. This make it more easy!
Start “Hercules
SETUP utility”
Select “TCP
Server”
Enter the correct port number. In
the example Port = 50000
Press the
button “Listen”
Now you
should see the connection of the module in the “Client connection status”
window.
When you “power
on” the control box you should see the communication in the “Received data”
window.
If you do
not see a connection:
1. Disable Firewall
2. Disable AniVirus
3. Check all connections and power
supply
4. Replace cables
5. Check Ethernet module configuration
6. Replace Ethernet module
If you do
not see the communication:
1. Disable Firewall
2. Disable AniVirus
3. Check all connections and power
supply
4. Replace cables
5. Check Ethernet module configuration
6. Replace Ethernet module
7. Check control box parameters
(F906=5,F412=0096 (baudrate 9600))
